Preparing your Application
Visas exceeding 90 days or for the purpose of taking up employment are subject
to the national law of the country of destination and need to be submitted at
The Embassy of Denmark, in Moscow. Applicants for residence permit will submit
their applications only at The Embassy of Denmark in Moscow with prior
appointment. For scheduling an appointment please call +7 495 775 60 19 between
0900 Hrs-1600 Hrs from Monday to Friday except holidays.
SCHENGEN visa has to be obtained from the Embassy / Consulate of the country
where the MAIN PURPOSE OF TRAVEL lies. w.e.f. 21st December 2007, 9 more
countries have joined the Schengen treaty making it a total of 24. The list of

Information.
Applications from Diplomats, UN Officials and Russian Official passport holders
going to Denmark and Iceland will continue to be accepted at the Embassy.
Citizens of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan should
contact our Call-Centre on number +7 (495) 775 60 19 to schedule an appointment
for the direct submission of documents at the Embassy of Denmark.
Note: In case of travel to more than one Schengen country, please submit
your application to the Embassy / Consulate where you will be staying for the
maximum number of days. In case of equal stay, one has to apply at the Schengen
country which is first port of entry.
